Please note that when you use the web form to publish a Twiij tweet to Twitter, it IS rendering correctly on Twitter. On the reverse, it’s not rendering correctly using Twitter Tools, a WordPress plugin in the right sidebar here on the Web site, that displays tweets in real time or in the nightly post digest published at 12 Midnight EST daily.
Here is a screen shot of what it looks like on Twitter, which is correct.
As you can see the the Bit.ly URL is rendering correctly as a link on Twitter, but it is not rendering correctly in the right sidebar on the site. Additionally, the Twitter Tools plugin is linking words that don’t need to be linked, like and artist’s first name. We have contacted the developer of Twitter Tools to see how we can resolve this issue.
